A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
AMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008 -09
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park approved and adopted a City
Budget for Fiscal Year 2008 -09 on September 23, 2008;
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2008, the City Council concurred to direct staff to prepare
an ordinance repealing the $150 per meeting stipend paid to Council members for attendance at
Community Development Commission meetings;
WHEREAS, the Council further concurred to further reduce its Fiscal Year 2008 -09
budget by eliminating the dues and subscriptions, telephone and equipment lease categories,
reducing the Legislative and City Representation categories by one -half, and reducing each of
the Education categories by one - third; and
WHEREAS, the proposed reductions have been incorporated into the amended City
Council Budget for Fiscal Year 2008 -09, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein as Exhibit "A."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that it does hereby authorize and approve amendments to the City Council Budget for Fiscal
Year 2008 -09, as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A."
- DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park this 13th day of January, 2009.
