A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
Honoring
Aetup At'wouaall
On the Occasion of her Retirement
WHEREAS, in September of 1991, Mary McDougall began her career with the City of Rohnert
Rohnert Park and advanced to Managing Director of the Performing Arts Theatre where she
she maintained quality entertainment for many years; and
WHEREAS, over her nearly 18 years as an employee, Mary acquired unique knowledge and
experience that made her a valuable employee to the City; and
WHEREAS, during her work with the City, she developed ties with Rancho Cotate High School
School and Sonoma State University; and
WHEREAS, Mary cultivated a solid working relationship with the arts community of Sonoma
Sonoma County and created an Arts Education program designed to inspire young people; and
and
WHEREAS, when not at the PAC, Mary can be found working with pottery; she has made
stunning vases some of which add to the receptive, inviting atmosphere at the Performing Arts
Arts Center; and
WHEREAS, Mary's natural flair for the Arts, theatre, decorating, and hosting memorable
receptions - such as the Commissioners' Event - were noticed and will be missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park that it
that it extends its best wishes for a long, relaxed retirement to Mary McDougall. We know that
that she will enjoy having extra time to enjoy son Chris, daughters Jennifer and Amy, and her
three grandchildren as well as painting, yoga, and, of course, pottery.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 25"' day of August, 2009.
