A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
ACCEPTING TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 435 SOUTHWEST
BOULEVARD (ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 143 - 370 -010) FROM THE
. ROHNERT PARK CIVIC COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Rohnert Park Civic Commission (the "Civic Commission ") owns
certain real property located within the Rohnert Park Redevelopment Project area boundaries, at
435 Southwest Boulevard, Assessor's Parcel Number 143- 370 -010;
. WHEREAS, the Rohnert Park Civic Commission ( "Civic Commission ") is a public body
corporate and politic;
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement (UPA ") entered into on March 7, 1966, by and
between the City of Rohnert Park ( "City ") and the Rohnert Park District ( "District ") created the
Rohnert Park Civic Commission;
WHEREAS, the Civic Commission was created to exercise common power of City and
District to acquire, construct, improve, maintain and operate buildings, structures and facilities,
including lands;
WHEREAS, the governing body of the Civic Commission is a Board of Commissioners
consisting of the members of the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park ( "City ") and the Board
of Directors of the Rohnert Park District ( "District ");
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code of the State of California the City carries out
the powers and duties of the Directors of the District;
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement, the Civic Commission has
the power to dispose of property duly authorized by resolution of the respective legislative
bodies;
WHEREAS, the Civic Commission desires to grant title to subject property to the City
of Rohnert Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that it does hereby authorize and approve the execution of a Grant Deed transferring the fee
title of Assessor's Parcel No., 143-370-010 from the Rohnert Park Civic Commission to the City
of Rohnert Park.

Being a portion of Cotati Rancho, located in the City of Rohnert Park in Sonoma County, California and
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears N 25° 39' 10" W. 376.04 feet from the Northeasterly corner of Lot 3 in
Block 2 of. Rohnert Park Subdivision No 3, Unit B, as said Subdivision is recorded in Book 85 of Maps,
Pages 1, 2 and 3 Sonoma County Records; thence from the point of beginning. S: 64° 20' 50" W. 149.00 feet;
thence N. 25° 39,' 10" W. 153.27 feet; thence N. 44° 17' 52" W. 44.37 feet to a point on the southerly line of
