A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
UPDATING THE PUBLIC FACILITIES FEE FOR ALL DEVELOPMENT
WITHIN THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-165
WHEREAS, on May 25, 2004 the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park (City) conducted a duly
noticed Public Hearing to receive and consider public comments on its Public Facilities Finance Plan
(PFFP) and upon completion of that hearing the City Council unanimously approved the PFFP; and
WHEREAS, on July 13, 2004, the City Council conducted a duly noticed Public Hearing and
adopted its Public Facilities Financing Ordinance and initial Public Facilities (PF) Fee Schedule under
Resolution 2004 -167; and
WHEREAS, these actions were taken to conform with the General Plan policies requiring that new
development pay for the impacts; and
WHEREAS, on June 13, 2006 the City Council approved Resolution 2006 -165 which updated the PF
Fees for all development within the City and made provisions to adjust the PF Fee for inflation on July 1,
without additional public hearing. The inflation index established is the Engineering News Records
Construction Cost Index; and
WHEREAS, the increase in the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index betweeh July
2006 and June 2007 was 3.1 %; and
WHEREAS, Attachment 1 of Resolution 2006 -165 set forth PF Fee for various classes of land use
and benefiting areas within the City and said attachment contained typographical errors in Attachment
1(c) and 1(i) that the City wishes to correct.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, that the 2007
Update to the Public Facilities Fee is adopted and Resolution No. 2006 -165 is amended to include
Attachment 1 to this Resolution as Attachment 1 to Resolution No. 2006 -165 as well.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park this 10th
day of July, 2007.
