1974/04/15 City Council ResolutionWJN : LCJ : ra 4/4/74 12c RESOLUTION NO. 74 -45 A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT CITY OF ROHNERT PARK RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, California, that WHEREAS, said Council did on the 14th day of February, 1974, cause to be publicly opened, examined and declared all sealed pro- posals or bids for the work to be done and improvements to be made for the construction of City of Rohnert Park Corporation Yard; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said Council rejects all of said proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and awards the contract as of April 18, 1974, and upon the taking effect of Ordinance Nos. 224 and 36 adopted by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park and the Board of Directors of the Rohnert Park District, respectively, on March 18, 1974, for doing the work and improvements and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: Columbini Construction, Inc., at the unit prices named in its bid. 2. That the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized to make and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of the City is hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the official seal of the City of Rohnert Park. 3. The City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of this resolution, transmit a copy to the Department of Industrial Relations - Division of Apprenticeship Standards, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, California 94102. Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made, the City Clerk shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such findings. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, at a meeting thereof held on the 15th day of April , 1974, by the following vote of the members thereof: AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: (5) Eck, Flores, Hopkins, Smith, and Beary (0) None (0) None NOES, Councilmen: ABSENT, Councilmen:
