A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
RATIFYING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND APPLIED PAVEMENT TECHNOLOGY FOR
THE STREET MAINTENANCE MEASURES, PROJECT NO. 2005-04
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with Consultant, dated June 14, 2005 for
pavement design services for the Rohnert Park Expressway Rehabilitation, Project No.
2005 -02; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested additional professional services from the Consultant
to evaluate additional streets for the Street Maintenance Measures Project, Project No.
2005 -04,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that the attached Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement by and between the City of
Rohnert Park and Applied Pavement Technology for the amount of $15,472 is approved,
and the City Manager is authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 in substantially similar
form to the attached amended agreement for and on behalf of the City of Rohnert Parr --°°

THIS AMENDMENT is made and entered into as of the 14`b of February, 2006 by and between
the City of Rohnert Park (hereinafter referred to as the "City ") and Applied Pavement
Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant ").
WHEREAS, the City Entered into an agreement with Consultant, dated June 14, 2005, for
pavement design services for the Rohnert Park Expressway Rehabilitation, Project No. 2005 -02;
and
WHEREAS, the City has requested additional professional services from the Consultant to also
evaluate additional streets for the Street Maintenance Measures, Project No. 2005 -04; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City and the Consultant for considerations hereinafter set forth,
mutually agree as follows:
Section 1, Exhibit "A" is amended to add the following:
Applied Pavement Technology will provide pavement evaluation and design for Commerce
Boulevard, Redwood Drive, and Southwest Boulevard as set forth in the letter proposal, Proposed
Budget for Evaluation and Design of Three Additional Street Segments, dated August 4, 2005.
Section 3. Compensation, is amended to read as follows:
The existing contract amount of $33,156 is increased by $15,472 to a total of $48,628 for
additional work tasks described in Section I and shown in letter proposal, Proposed Budget for
Evaluation and Design of Three Additional Street Segments, dated August 4, 2005.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment to be executed as of

Dear Mr. Ienkins:
Attached please find oar proposed budget to include three additional street segments, C:omunercc Blvd.,
P- edvrood Drive, and Suulhwest Bled, as part of our project to conduct a pavement ;;valuation and provide
rehabilitation designs for the Rohnert Park Expressway (RPE). The scope of worm associated with the
additional field sampling, nondestnrctive testing, dimcss surveys, and lab testing is consistent with the
scope that will be usual on the 16'..PE. Ot:r findings and design recommendations will be provWcd within
