2006/05/09 City Council Resolution (16)RESOLUTION NO. 2006-128 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK, CALIFORNIA. APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. i TO SANTA ROSA PLAIN CONSERVATION STRATEGY PLANNING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Rohnert Park is committed to the conservation of animal and plan habitat in the Santa Rosa Plain; WHEREAS, the City of Rohnert Parr is a participating agency with a representative and alternate representative on the Santa Rosa Plain Conservation Strategy Committee; and WHEREAS, the current members of the Committee have agreed that the public interest is best served by modifying the composition of the Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rohnert Park that the attached Exhibit A, "Amendment No. i to the Santa Rosa Plain Conservation Strategy Planning. Agreement" is approved and the mayor is duly authorized to execute the amendment. DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 9h day of May, 2006. Dated for Convenience April 12, 2006 This Amendment No. 1 to the Santa Rosa Plain Conservation Strategy Planning Agreement is entered into as of the Effective Date by and among the County of Sonoma, the City of Santa Rosa, the City of Cotati, the Town of Windsor, the City of Rohnert Park, the California Department of Fish and Game, and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Section 1.10 of the Santa Rosa Plain Conservation Strategy Planning Agreement is amended to read as follows: 1.10 Implementation Committee means the committee comprised of elected representatives of the Local Jurisdictions, a representative from DFG, one representative each from the agricultural, viticultural, and development communities, two representatives from the environmental community, and a representative from the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation. A representative from USFWS will be present at all meetings to assist the Implementation Committee on technical matters. Except as expressly set forth above, the remaining terms of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
