A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
APPROVING A CORRECTED GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DIAGRAM FOR THE
UNIVERSITY DISTRICT SPECIFIC PLAN PROJECT BY REPEALING AND
REPLACING THE DIAGRAM ATTACHED TO RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -033
WHEREAS, on April 8, 2014 the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park conducted a duly
noticed public hearing to receive and consider public comments on the revisions to the
University District Specific Plan (UDSP) project originally approved in 2006; and
WHEREAS, at that meeting, the Council approved an Addendum to the UDSP EIR,
Rescission of Tentative Maps and Development Area Plans approved in 2006, General Plan
Amendments, Revised Specific Plan, Tentative Map, and Tentative Parcel Map, and introduced
Ordinance No. 878 approving the Amended and Restated DA (collectively referred to as the
"Project" (File No. PL2012- 043GP); and
WHEREAS, due to a clerical error, Exhibit A of Resolution 2014 -033 (Approving
Amendments to the Land Use Map and Text of the General Plan for University District Specific
Plan Project), presented to the City Council was not the most current version of the General Plan
Land Use Diagram, however, the agenda materials and staff presentation did contain an accurate
description and depiction of the proposed configuration for the General Plan land use
designations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to correct the clerical error by updating the General
Plan Land Use Diagram attached as Exhibit A with the General Plan Land Use Diagram set forth
in Exhibit A1, attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the General Plan Land Use Diagram set forth in Exhibit Al is designed to
supersede those same General Plan Land Use Diagram in Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2014 -033,
but shall have no effect on the remainder of Resolution No. 2014 -033; and
WHEREAS, adopting an accurate General Plan Land Use Diagram is to the benefit of all
parties involved in developing property because it assures that each development approved is
consistent with the development intended by the developer and described in the presentation and
materials to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rohnert Park, that Resolution No. 2014 -033 is amended as follows:
1. Recitals. The recitals to this Resolution and true and correct and material to the adoption of
this Resolution.
2. Amendment of References to Exhibit A. All references to Exhibit A in Resolution No.
2014 -033 are amended in in their entirety to refer to Exhibit Al.
3. Attachments. Exhibit A to Resolution No. 2014 - -033 is hereby repealed in its entirety and
replaced by Exhibit A1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference.
4. Effect on Resolution 2014 - -033. Except as expressly provided for herein, the adoption of
this Resolution shall have no effect on the Resolution 2014 -033, which shall remain in full
force and effect.
