A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND DARRIN JENKINS
WHEREAS, on November 26, 2013, the City of Rohnert Park ( "City ") entered into a
City Manager Employment Agreement with Darrin Jenkins ( "Employee ") to retain his services as
the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City and Employee desire to amend the City Manager Employment
Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park hereby approves the First Amendment to City Manager Employment Agreement between the
City of Rohnert Park and Darrin Jenkins in substantially the same form attached hereto as Exhibit
"A," which is incorporated herein by this reference.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park this 25th day of November, 2014.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
Between
CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND DARRIN JENKINS
1. PARTIES AND EFFECTIVE DATE
The parties to this First Amendment to City Manager Employment Agreement are the
City of Rohnert Park ( "City ") and Darrin Jenkins ( "Employee ") and the effective date of this
First Amendment to City Manager Employment Agreement ( "First Amendment ") shall be
November 25, 2014.
2. PURPOSE
The parties have previously entered into a City Manager Employment Agreement
between the City of Rohnert Park and Darrin Jenkins ( "Employment Agreement ") effective as
of November 26, 2013. The City and Employee hereby desire to amend the Employment
Agreement as set forth below.
3. AMENDMENT
Section 4.A.(1)(a) of the Employment Agreement is hereby amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
4. COMPENSATION
A. Compensation & Required Employer Costs
(1) Base Salary
(a) The annual salary for the position of City Manager shall
initially be $189,000.00. Beginning on December 1, 2014,
Employee shall be entitled to a three percent (3 %) one -time
non - pensionable payment. Beginning on July 1, 2015,
Employee shall be entitled to a three percent (3 %) one -time
non - pensionable payment. Beginning on July 1, 2016,
Employee shall be entitled to a three percent (3 %)
pensionable increase to base salary.

4. FULL FORCE AND EFFECT
Except as specifically modified herein, all remaining terms and obligations set forth in
the Employment Agreement between the City of Rohnert Park and Employee shall remain in
full force and effect.
