Upon motion of Councilman Beary, seconded by
Councilman Eck, and unanimously approved, the
reading of Resolution No. 75 -226 was waived and
said resolution adopted.
College Bicycle City Manager Callinan reminded that some time
Path Lighting ago consideration had been given to lighting
the bicycle path in the area of the college and
Snyder Lane and explained that the college was
willing to pay for installation costs with the
City providing for annual maintenance costs.
The Council of the City of Rohnert Park
met this date in special session commencing
at 4:00 p.m. in the City Offices, 6750 Commerce
Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with Mayor Hopkins pre -
siding.
Call to Order
Mayor Hopkins called the meeting'of the special
session to order at approximately.4:00 p.m.

Present: (4) Councilmen Beary, Eck, Flores and
Hopkins
Absent: (1) Councilman Smith
Staff and others present: City Manager Callinan,
City Engineer Brust; David Sabsay, Director of
Sonoma !County Library system; Lawrence Simons,
Architect;' Ed Soule of Mr. Simons' firm.
Press correspondents present: Steve Green, Rohnert

RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS ROHNERT
No. 75 -225
PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY (PROJECT NO. 1975 -9)
City Manager Callinan explained the resolution.
Discussion followed concerning the library project.
Upon motion of Councilman Flores, seconded by
Councilman Beary, and unanimously approved by
a roll call vote, the reading of Resolution No.
75 -225 was waived and said resolution was adopted.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

ROHNERT PARK APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR A
GRANT UNDER TITLE III OF THE OLDER AMERICANS
ACT- --PARR TRANSIT PROGRAM
City Manager Callinan explained the resolution.
Parks and Recreation Director Pekkain was present
and, referring to his memorandum dated November
4, 1975, explained the purpose of the grant appli-
cation. Discussion followed.

said resolution adopted.

Discussion followed relative to the possibility
of the college sharing maintenance costs; installa-
tion rate increases by P.G..& E. and monies allo-
cated by Sonoma State College for the proposed
project.
Employee
City Manager Callinan advised that the City was
Flu Shot
offering to the employees, through the Family
inoculation
Practice Clinic of Sonoma County, flu shot inocula-
tion. Discussion followed concerning whether
city officials could take advantage of the inocula-
tion program.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Hopkins
adjourned the meeting at approximately 4023 p.m.
