March 27, 1972
The Council of the City of Rohnert Park met this date in
special session commencing at 7:00 p.m. in the City Offices;
435 Southwest Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with Mayor Hopkins
presiding.
Call to Order Mayor Hopkins called the special session to order at
7:00 p.m.
Roll Call Present: (4) Councilmen Flores, Roberts, Smith, and
Hopkins
Absent: (1) Councilman Buchanan

Others Present: Press Correspondents Marguerite Hahn,
Press Democrat, and Clint Mosher, The Clarion.
New City Office "` City Manager Callinan explained the procedure to be used
Building for the purchase of the site by the city for the new office
building with the Rohnert Park Civic Commission paying an
advance rental of $22,000 to the city for the site. He
Mreviewed the escrow instructions, giving a breakdown of the
$22,118.52 total amount to be paid into escrow with the
escrow being through Sonoma County Abstract Bureau.
Resolution No. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF DEED (New City Office
72 -39 Building Site)
City Manager Callinan explained the resoluti on.
Upon motion of Councilman Roberts, seconded by Councilman
Smith, and unanimously approved, Resolution No. 72 -39 was
adopted.
A discussion was held concerning the change orders on the
building project and how the Council desired to handle them.
City Manager Callinan explained Change Order No. 1. The
Council indicated that it would prefer that change orders
be presented to it. City Manager Callinan indicated Change
Order No. 1 would be scheduled for action at the next reg-
ular council meeting.
Cotati Sewer Councilman Smith asked if City Manager Callinan could make
Capacity a determination as to whether or not the City of Cotati
would be in excess of its sewer capacity if all the uses
for which it has issued or approved permits were connected
to the system. He expressed doncern that Cotati's capacity
is committed with the approval by Cotati of the Holiday
Park Subdivision. Discussion followed during which City
Manager Callinan indicated that he would check into the
matter and report back.
Country Manor Councilman Smith inquired as to whether or not anyone
Subdivision knew the dimensions of the models in the Condiotte Country

Manor Subdivision. City Manager Callinan indicated that he
did not. Councilman Smith also indicated that he thought
there was a one car garage in one of the models: Mr.
Callinan indicated he would check into the matter.
Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at, approximately 7005 p.m.
