The Council of the City of Rohnert Park met`this date in
special session commencing at 5:00 p.m.,:in the City Offices,
435 Sothwest Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with,'Mayor Hopkins
presiding:
Call to Order Mayor HOpkins called the meeting of the special session
to order at 5:00 p.m. and led the pledge of allegiance.
Roll Call Present: .(4) Councilmen Buchanan, Roberts, Rogers and
Hopkins
Absent: (1) Councilman Smith
Staff Present: City Manager Callinan
Others Present: Mr. Clint Mosher, Editor of the Clarion
Newspaper
Resolution No. 71 -105 RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE
RAISED FROM PROPERTY TAXES TO SUPPORT THE CITY DEPARTMENTS
AND PAY THE INDEBTEDNESS TO THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1971 -72
City Manager Callinan explained the resolution.
Upon motion by Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman
Rogers, and approved by the following roll call vote,
Resolution No. 71 -105 was adopted:
AYES: (3) Councilmen Buchanan, Roberts and Rogers
NOES: (1) Mayor Hopkins
ABSENT: (1) Councilman Smith
Resolution No. 71 -106 RESOLUTION FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1971 -72 FOR THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
City Manager Callinan explained the resolution.
Upon motion by Councilman Rogers, seconded by Councilman
Buchanan, and approved by the following roll call vote,
Resolution No. 71 -106 was adopted:
AYES: (3) Councilmen Buchanan, Roberts and Rogers
NOES: (1) Mayor Hopkins
ABSENT: (1) Councilman Smith
City Manager's City Manager Callinan explained that he would like to take
vacation August 20 through the 27th as vacation and was appointing
Superintendent of Public Works Wiggins to act as Manager
Pro- Tempore during his absence.
Upon motion by Councilman Rogers, seconded by Councilman

Roberts, and unanimously approved, City Manager Callinan °s
appointment of Mr. Wiggins to act as City Manager Pro -
Tempore during his absence was approved.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously approved,
the special meeting was adjourned at approximately 5 :05 p.m.
