The Council of the City of Rohnert Park met this
date in a closed personnel session at 8 :30 P.M.
at the City Offices, 435 Southwest Blvd., Rohnert
Park, with Vic -Mayor Rogers presiding.
Roll Call Present: (3) Vice -Mayor Rogers, Councilmen
Pezonella, and Co Smith
Absent: (2) Mayor Buchanan, Councilman V Smith
Also present: City Attorney Maxwell, City Manager
. Callinan and Mr. Paul Goli-so
A discussion was held concerning participation by
the City Attorney in the law suit filed by Mr.
Golis and his associates against the Cotati Public
Utility District.
Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 P-M�

Ordinance #48 City Manager Callinan read the title of Ordinance
No. 48 - AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS.
OF,SECTION 13522 OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO'
TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
Upon motion by Councilman Pezonella, seconded by
Councilman C. Smith and unanimously approved,
reading.of Ordinance No. 48 was waived.
Upon motion by Councilman Pezonella, seconded by
Councilman C — Smith, Ordinance No-:48 AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 13522 OF THE
PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT
OFFICERS. was adopted by the following roll call
vote: AYES.-,(3) Councilman Pezonella, Co Smith
and Vice -Mayor Rogers. NOES: (0), ABSENT: (2)
Mayor.Buchanan and Councilman V. Smith.
Resolution: #192 City-Manager Ca.11inan.read the title of Resolution
Noe 1,92.,- A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO LEASE
AGREEMENT.WITH CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND ROHNERT
PARK RECREATION.'CORPORATION.
The City Manager reviewed the terms of the lease
and read the particular section the proposed lease
amendment would:changee He stated that both City
Attorney Maxwell and Miss Peggy Mc'Elligott of the
law offices of Wilson, Harzfeld, Jones and Morton
had advised adoption of the amendment.
Upon motion by Councilman Co Smith, seconded by
Councilman Pezonella and unanimously approved, the
reading of Resolution 192 was waived.
Upon motion by Councilman Ca Smith, seconded by
Councilman Pezonella. and unanimously approved,
Resolution 192 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT
TO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND
ROHNERT PARK RECREATION CORPORATION, was adopted,

Resolution #186 City Manager Callinan read Resolution No. 186 - A
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK ADOPTING A
SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS.
Copies of the report prepared for the Division of
Highways were given to the Council and Mr. Hudis,
Engineer, explained the map and formula for
arriving at the number of street miles allowable
under the formula°
Upon motion by Councilman Pezonella, seconded by
C. amith, and unanimously approved., Resolution 186 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK ADOPTING A
SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY.STREETS, was adopted.

Lane would present to the City,was read.
A motion was made by Councilman Pezonella directing
the City Manager to compile information pertinent
to this situation as soon as possible and present
it to the.City Council for consideration..
Councilman Co Smith requested that the following
remarks be made a part of the record. He stated
that he felt, as everyone else does, that the welfare
of Rohnert Park is at stake as to where a high
school site should be placed, However, he felt that
by refusing sewer service to the site, or requesting
the Petaluma School District to abandon the site,
would only be aggrevating the situation and that the
time of the Council should be put in on a study of
the cost of providing the sewer service and making
sure the City receives adequate remuneration to pro -
vide and maintain such service. He stated he felt
this issue was equally important.
After his stateme t g Councilman C. Smith seconded the
motion made by Councilman Pezonella, and the motion
was unanimously approved.
A discussion was also held,between the Council and
others present, with regard to the City undertaking
a study of the possibility and advisability of
getting the City of Rohnert Park into one high
school district and one elementary school district.
Adjournment
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8030 P.M. to a personnel session.
