H. Sharrett -Use Mr. Sharrett was present and presented drawings permit to increase to, the`Council on which he indicated how he would height of fence- like to. extend the height of;hi's fence. He advised 314 Alma Avenue the Co`un`cil' he is putting a. swimming pool in his yard and the increased height " ".in the fence would provide greater privacy to both himself and his neighbors. Upon motion by Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman: 'C ". Smith Bills for Upon motion by Councilman Pezonella, seconded by Approval Councilman Buchanan and unanimously approved the bills presented for approval, per attached list, were approved: Budget Work City Manager Cal.linan reviewed the anticipated Seegion revenues section of the proposed budget for 1965 -66. Based on information received since the preparation of the preliminary budget, Mr. Callinar indicated that the anticipated sales and use tax should be changed from $24,000.00 to 5259000.00, The Council expressed agreement with the change. Upon motion by Councilman C. Smith, seconded by Councilman Buchanan and unanimously approved, the revenues section of the 1965 -66 preliminary budget was approved by the Council with the change in- dicated above. A general discussion was held concerning the tax rate for 1965 -66. It was generally agreed there would be no increase in the City tax rate for 1365 -66 and that if required, a loan could be budgeted from the utility fund to the general Fund to maintain the present tax rate. Adjournment There being no further business the meeting was adjourned to the next meeting scheduled for 7:OOPM on July 6, 1965 at which time the Council will hold a closed session to discuss salaries to be paid for 1965 -66. It was agreed that any action taken at the July 6, 1965 meeting concerning salaries would be retroactive to July 1, 1965. Respectfully submitted c� Peter M.
