Smith presiding, The regular-meeting was pre - ceeded by a personnel session which commenced at 7: 30 P.M. Call to Order Mayor C. Smith called the meeting to order. Roll Call Present: (5) Councilmen Pezonella, Roberts, Rogers, V. Smith and Mayor C. Smith. Absent: (0) ,, Staff present: City Manager Callinan, City Attorney Maxwell, John Quinn of the Sonoma County Planning staff. Communications Communications, per the attached outline, were brought to.the, attention of the Council. No action was taken on any of the communications. except as,specifically noted in these minutes. Mayor C. Smith asked that a copy of the letter received from the Mayor of Frogtown be forwarded to Miss Rohnert Park, Diane Madden. Sonoma State Mr. Mawson. of the County Counsel's office was Expressway present and reviewed a proposed agreement between the Northwestern Pacific Railroad and the City relatve:.to.the grade crossing and eventuall grade separation on Sonoma State Expressway. A discussion concerning the,agreement followed. Councilman Rogers moved and_Councilman Pezonella seconded a motion that the Council make the findings required by the. zoning ordinance and approved the variance. A further discussion followed after which Council- man Rogers withdrew hs'mofton and Councilman Pezonella. withdrew his, second. Mayors' & Council- Councilman V. `smith requested the City Manager men's Association send out an invitation to all City Attorney's to of Sonoma County attend the next meeting of the Mayors' and Councilmen's Association of Sonoma County Public Appearances Mr. Maurice Fredericks appeared and commended the Council for their efforts in connection with Annexation 3 -A. He thanked the Council members for their efforts in his behalf as a citizen of both the City of Rohnert Park and the Petaluma High School District.
