Approval of Upon motion by Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman Foust, and
minutes unanimously approved, the minutes of November 29 1962, were approved.
Upon motion by Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman Bells and
unanimously approvedg the minutes of November 5. 19629 were approved
as corrected*
Approval of bills Upon motion by Councilman Buchanans seconded by Councilman Fousts and
for payment unanimously approveds bills per attached copyg dated November 199 19629
were authorized for payment as corrected*
PTA Animal Mr. Charles Russell reported on the Animal Control Study conducted by
Control Study the John Reed PTA, The study was made because of the trouble with
stray dogs at the school, and the recommendation from the Committee
was that the City institute an Animal Control Law based on the Sonoma
County Ordinance rather than the District Ordinance*
Mr, Russell also stated that Mr. Whitmire, the County Animal Control
Officers stated that he was legally restricted in an incorporated area
from enforcing the County Ordinance•
Upon motion by Councilman Smith., seconded by Councilman Buchanan, andl
unanimously approvedt the Clerk was requested to write to Mro Whitmi
requesting clarification of his statements to the PTA. i
Mr. Maxwell, City Attorneys was also requested to check the point of
law regarding the legal restrictions on the Poundmaster®

CAC Education The City Council authorized the clerk to give Mr. Pockrus, of the
report Citizens Advisory Commission$ a copy of the letter from Mr* Miller
the Cotati School Districts and ask for his comments and answer by
the next City Council meeting* I
Ambulance The Clerk was authorized to write to the Petaluma Hospital District
service requesting information regarding ambulance service to Rohnert Park9
whom to call, and what service ts available*
Neighborhood B The Clerk was authorized • advise Marshall & Hudis that the changes
changes approved they had requested for Neighborhood B has been approved by the Planning
Commissions with the stipulation that no access be allowed from Becky
Court to the back • adjacent lots*

City Seal Councilman Smith informed the Council that Mrs. Krieg will make an
enlarged copy of her drawing for the engravers to use when making the
City Seal.
