The Council of the City of Rohnert Park met this to in an ad&urned
session at 8:00 p.m. at the City Officeg 6950 Commerce Blvd., Rohnert
Park, with Mayor Call inan presiding*
Roll Call
Present.- (5) Mayor Callinanj Councilmen Bell, Buchanan, Foust, Smith,
Absent: (0)
Use Permit
Variance permit was requested by Romae Pacific Co for sign of 129 sq, ftw
instead of 103 sq. ft® as stipulated in the Use Permit.
Upon motion by Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman Bell, and
unanimously approved, the variance request was refused& However, the
City Engineer was requested to check the property line for frontage to
determine the actual size that the sign can be.
Planning
Mr. Prather, Sonoma County Planning Commission, discussed policy and
procedure for plann=,g with the City Council* Mr. Prather stated that
Rohnert Park will receive assistance from the Planning Commission$
however, a set meetingg or meetings, per month will have to be designated*
He also suggested that a one week agenda cut-off period on planning matters'.

Church permit
The City Council requested the Presbyterian. Church to allow 1 parking
space for each 4 seats in the Church*
Resolution //66
Resolution Rio® 66 - A RESOLDTION APPROVING AGRE34ENT WITH INDUSTRIAL
STEEL TANK AND BODY WORKS, INC*, was read and moved by Councilman Smith,
seconded by Councilman Bells and unanimously approved*
City Seal
City Clerk was requested to write to Mrsoliarriet Krieg, who submitted
the original drawing from which the City Seal was made, to show her how
the Seal looks*
Telephones
Mr. Don Brooks, Pacific Telephone Goo, discussed an emergency fire phone
set up with the City Council, Mr. Brooks will work out an emergency
system and advise the Council*
Mr. Brooks requested that the Clerk write to Pacific Telephone Co.
verifying the listings for the Fire Department as follows:

Mr® Fleming, Wesco Division, was requested by the Council to submit a

Police Vehicle Mr. Maxwelit City Attorney, was requested to draw up specifications for
bid on police care
Councilman Foust was requested to contact Mr. Mendenhall of Motorola
Radio regarding radio for the Police Department.,
City Office City Clerk was authorized to charge 150 per sheet for any duplicating of
copies requested by residents.
