This regular session was preceded by a work session which commenced at 7:30 p.m. but at which no formal action was taken. Tax Upon motion by Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman Rogers and in payment unanimously approved, refund to Sonoma County for tqx overpayment, the -amount of $330.29 was authorized* Fireworks Upon motion by . Councilman Buchanan, seconded by Councilman Bell and unanimously approved, requests for permission to sell safe and sane fireworks by the 20-30 Club and the Optimists Club were approved$ sub- ject to merchandise inspection by the Fire Chief and the acquiring and presenting of all necessary State licenses to Mr, Callinan, City 141ana- ger. Mr® Callinan was directed to request Mr. Morroco fvom Codding, Magowan, Wilkey & Keyes to appear before the City Council at the meeting of July 1, 1.963 to discuss the matter in detail* Sewer Study Mr. Milt Hudiz, Acting City h4igineer, gave a verbal progress report on the sewer study he is performing* Commerce Blvdo The Council indicated tentative general approval. of the route and alignment of the two lane Commerce Blvd: extension, but no official action was taken.
