The City Council of the City of Rohnert Park met
this date.in:.a4journed session at 7130 p.m,, at the
City Office; 435 Southwest Blvd., Rohnert Park,
with Mayor Buchanan presiding.
Roll Call
Present: (5) Mayor Buchanan, Councilmen
Pezonella, Rogers,.C. Smith, and V. Smith.
Also present were City Manager Callinan and City
Treasurer O'Neil.
Temporary
Upon.motign,.by Councilman Rogers, seconded by
Secretary
Councilmen V. Smith, and.unan.imously approved,
City Manager Callinan was appointed temporary
secretary for the purpose of taking minutes of
this meeting,

City Manager Callinan advised the Council that

with the City Council on July 13 at 8 p.m. at
which time he and other representatives frem
P.G. &E. will outline a program to the City Council
and other community faders in Rohnert Park on how
communities such as Rohnert Park might improve the
rate of their industrial development. The City

Manager Callinan to send out a letter inviting the
Chamber of Commerogg members of the Merchants'
Association, the developers, and variouq other
civic organizations in the City,

City Manager Callinan brought to th* City Council's
Fun Daze
attention an invitation that had been received
the Fun Daze
from Italian Swiss Colony Concerning
to be held in Cloverdale on June 27, 1964 for
public, radio, t.v., and press officials.
Budget for Fiscal
City Manager Callinan reviewed in detail, that an-

The Council held a brief discussion of the advisa-
bility of the Council's adopting a policy setting
down guide lines concerning Council travel and
meeting expenses.

room, was changed to read "Other Capital Improve-
mentQ." This change was made at the request of
.City Manager Callinan. He pointed out that chairs
had been acquired through Civil Defense surplue
at the low rate of 75: cents - apiece.
After detailed explanation of the anticipated
