points brought out by Supervisor Shoemaker in his
letter to the City Council. Councilman Pezonella
advised the Council that those at the meeting dis-
cussed the possibility of locating a branch library;
in the vicinity of East Cotati Avenue and Adrian
Drive, but upon checking with Councilman Groom
Prior to tonight's City Council meeting, he stated
that Councilman Groom was unable to give him any
indication as to whether or not the Cotati City
Council could approve of such a location for a
library.
After much discussion, it was generally felt by
the City Council, and other residents present who
participated in the discussion, that the City
Council should try to have the branch library
established in Rohnert Park, preferably in the
Rohnert Park Center. The Council then agreed that
Councilman Pezonella should persue this project in
hopes of having the County establish a branch
library in Rohnert Park.
