Call to Order Vice -Mayor Carbone called the meeting of the adjourned regular session to order at approximately 7 :20 p.m. Roll Call Present: (3) Councilmen Cavalli, Hopkins and Carbone Absent: (2) Councilmen Roberts and Stewart Others present for all or part of the meeting: City Manager Callinan Parks and Recreation Commissioner Roger Kreischer Rohnert Park Cultural Arts Corp. Board of Directors Members Philip Hyslop, Ransom L. Sayre, Clara Brown, and Bob Rose Planning Commissioner Art Hollingsworth Public Safety Supervisor Jerry Bick Recreation Director Jim Pekkain School Board 11ember Alice Wells Sonoma State University Professor Hunter Administrative Asst. Mel Jones Theatre Consultant Leonard Auerbach and Anthony Bataggila Eric Glass and John Miller of Roland /Miller/ Associates Press Correspondents Bonnie Bard of the Independent Journal, Linda Joy Finley of the Rohnert Park Cotati Times and Jud Snyder of the Rohnert Park- Cotati Clarion Vice -Mayor Carbone and City Manager Callinan explained the purpose of the meeting was to review the "Prearchitectural Programming Study" prepared for the proposed performing arts center by S. Leonard Auerbach and Associates. Vice -Mayor Carbone recognized architect John Miller who made a few introductory comments and introduced Mr. S. Leonard Auerbach. Mr. Auerbach explained and commented on his study dated April 15, 1980 and its supplement thereto dated May, 1, 1950, copies of which have previously been provided to members of the City Council, Commissions, Cultural Arts Board, and press corres- pondents and other persons interested in the matter. A wide - ranging discussion was held during and after Mr. Auerbach': presentation with several members of the audience participating.
