2005/08/09 City Council Resolution (7)RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -242 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK ACCEPTING THE DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE REPORT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2004 WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 66006, the City of Rohnert Park is required to provide information regarding development impact fees each fiscal year; and WHERAS, this report has been made available not less than fifteen days from the date of this council meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council does hereby accept for filing the Development Impact Fee Report for the fiscal year 2003 -2004. PER AC_ RE FOR DEVELOPMEW FEE This fee was established per resolution 79 -08 and provides for the expansion of the City's water system, including but not limited to production, storage, distribution facilities and necessary engineering and planning studies. Amount of fee: $17,715 per acre 7/1/03 7/1/04 Balance Receipts Expenditures* Balance $746,097.14 $225,810.36 $349,437.00 $622,470.50 * Portion of cost of purchased water from Sonoma County Water Agency related to capital costs of Agency. No interfund transfers or loans were made from this fund. In addition, no refunds or allocations were made pursuant to subdivisions (e) and (f) of Government Code Section 66001. TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION FEE This fee was established per resolution 79 -84 for the construction of traffic signals at planned intersections. CAPITAL OUTLAY This fee was established per Ordinance 47 for the acquisition, improvement and expansion of public parks, playgrounds, open space, recreation facilities, and community facilities, including but not limited to fire stations, libraries, civic auditoriums, civic centers, and sports stadiums. Amount of fee: RESIDENTIAL Single Family Homes: With 1 bedroom $1,050.00 With 2 bedrooms 1,285.00 With 3 or more bedrooms 1,455.00 Duplexes and Apartments: With 1 bedroom 870.00 With 2 bedrooms 925.00 With 3 bedrooms 1,185.00 With 4 or more bedrooms 1,340.00 Mobile Homes: 1. Mobile home parks with children With 1 bedroom 750.00 With 2 bedrooms 870.00 With 3 or more bedrooms 925.00 INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL Every person constructing or installing an industrial or commercial building in the City of Rohnert Park shall pay to the City fees computed by multiplying $0.42 by the number of square feet in the proposed structure.
