A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
ENDORSING THE ROHNERT PARK BOYS' AND GIRLS' CLUB
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (SCCDC) is taking
applications for Community Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") community service funds for the
2006 -2007 program year for activities which benefit lower income households; and
WHEREAS, one of the requirements for applying for a CDBG from SCCDC is endorsement
from the community in which the grantee serves.
WHEREAS, the Boys' and Girls' Club of Rohnert Park intends to apply for a CDBG funds
to provide after - school and summer activities which would benefit lower income households in the
City of Rohnert Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rohnert Park commends the Boys' and Girls' Club for the services
it provides; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park
that it strongly supports and endorses the application for CDBG funds submitted by the Boys' and
Girls' Club of Rohnert Park and requests approval of this application.
