Based upon our discussion earlier this week, I propose the following services and compensation. Services 1. Review of shop drawings and submittals for architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical portions of the work. 2. Review of any proposed revisions to the drawings and specifications as requested by the Client. 3. Respond to questions from the Client, respond to contractor requests for clarification, review proposed changes m contract price and process change orders. Review Progress Payment Applications and review with Contractor as needed prior to forwarding to Client for payment. 4. Periodic field observation of each phase of work as needed and as directed by the Client. 5. Final Punch List preparation by Architect and consultants. 6 Assist Client in securing close out of project including warranties and product maintenance manuals. Assist Client in filing for Notice of Completion as requested. Compensation As with the original agreement, I propose to work on a time and materials basis at the same rates. I have attached the hourly rate schedule as a reference. I estimate the various work tasks as follows: Construction Phase Submittal and Shop Drawing Review .Respond to Requests for Information from the Contractor Process Change Orders and Progress Payments (For Reso. N0. 2004 -324) Respond to Questions from Client Punch List Preparation and Final Documentation $3800.00 Job Site Reviews Mechanical Engineer $2850.00 $800.00 Structural Engineer $1300.00 Total $8750.00 Reimbursable expenses would include any postage and delivery costs. Major determinants of the time required will be the number of phases of work requested by the staff at the Shelter and RFI's by the Contractor. Hopefully the process will go smoothly and we will not need many changes. i appreciate your patience and continued support on this project. I look forward to working with you during the construction and to a successful construction process. Please call me if you have any questions or comments regarding this proposal.
