2004/11/23 City Council Resolution (15)RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 329 VACATION OF EXCESS RIGHT OF WAY, ROHNERT PARK EXPRESSWAY AND SNYDER LANE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, California, that the excess right of way for Rohnert Park Expressway and Snyder Lane, as described on the attached Exhibit "A' is hereby declared excess right of way not required for street or highway purposes, and is hereby summarily vacated per the California Streets and Highways Code, Section 8334. DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 23rd day of November, 2004. EXHIBIT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION CITY OF ROHNERT PARK VACATION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY ROHNERT PARK EXPRESSWAY JULY 21, 2004 The intent of this description is to combine land being vacated by the City of Rohnert Park with Lot 2, as shown on that map entitled " Rohnert Park Parcel Map No. 33 ", recorded in Book 249 of Maps at Pages 35 and 36, Official Records of Sonoma County, also known as Assessor Parcel Number 159- 460 -014. Lying within the City of Rohnert Park, County of Sonoma and the State of California, and being a portion of the lands of the City of Rohnert Park as shown in that Record of Survey recorded in Book 115 of Maps, Pages 19 and 20, Official Records of Sonoma County, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northerly right -of -way of Rohnert Park Expressway and said point being the southeasterly corner of Lot 2, as shown on that map entitled " Rohnert Park Parcel Map No. 33 ", recorded in Book 249 of Maps at Pages 35 and 36, Official Records of Sonoma County; thence North 89° 39' 50" West, along said right -of -way 127.86 feet to a tangent curve to the right, having an internal angle of 85° 25'00", and a radius of 50.00 feet; thence along said curve 74.54 feet; thence South 04° 14' 50" East, 64.05 feet to a tangent curve to the left having an internal angle of 86° 21' 30" and a radius of 50.00 feet; thence along said curve 75.36 feet; thence North 89° 23' 40" East, 122.31 feet to the southwest corner of Parcel 2 as shown on " Rohnert Park Parcel Map No. 173 ", recorded in Book 647 of Maps at Pages 18 and 19, Official Records of Sonoma County; thence North 00° 00'34" West, 61.83 feet along the westerly line of said Parcel 2, to the Point of Beginning.
