RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE
SPANOS CORPORATION FOR STORM DRAIN EASEMENT
WHEREAS this easement is being reconfigured and conveyed by a new deed, therefore is no
longer needed by the City.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, California, that the
Quitclaim Deed for Exhibit "A" attached, from the City of Rohnert Park, a California Municipal
Corporation, being a portion of Assessor Parcel No. 143 -300 -028, to The Spanos Corporation, a
California Corporation, be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized
and directed to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Rohnert Park.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 22nd day of January, 2002.

An easement for drainage purposes and the right to maintain and repair, originally granted to the City of Rohnert
Park July 18, 1984 per Document Number 84048957, Sonoma County Records; being a portion of the lands of The
Spanos Corporation, a California Corporation, as recorded in Document Number 2000 120180, Sonoma County
Records, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the northeast line of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad at the northwest corner of the parcel of land
conveyed in the deed to Double Decker Corporation recorded September 17, 1981 under Document Number 81-
053730, Sonoma County Records; thence from said Point of Beginning, North 25' 39' 33" West, along said
northeast line 724.33 feet to the northerly line of the parcel of land described in the deed to The Spanos Corporation
recorded November 15, 2000 under Document Number 2000 120180, Sonoma County Records; thence along said
northerly line, North 84° 15' 54" East, 5.91 feet and easterly along the arc of a curve to the right, having a radius
of 702 feet, through a central angle of 09° 17' 6 ", an arc distance of 113.86 feet, to the northeast line of the parcel
of land conveyed in the deed to the City of Rohnert Park recorded March 19, 1974 in Book 2486, Official Records,
Page 551; thence along the exterior line of said last mentioned parcel, South 25° 39' 33" East, 209.24 feet; thence
South 64' 20'27" West, 20.00 feet; thence South 25' 39'33" East, 465.78 feet to the northwest line of said Double
Decker Corporation parcel (Document No. 81053730); thence South 64° 20' 27" West, along said northwest line
89.00 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
