A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND /OR DISPOSAL OF MISCELLANEOUS SURPLUS
EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES THROUGHOUT FISCAL YEAR 2002 -2003
WHEREAS, the City Manager has informed the Council that the City has and will have,
throughout Fiscal Year 2002 -2003, miscellaneous equipment and vehicles which are no longer of
any use in the normal course of City operations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested permission to dispose of and /or sell the
equipment and vehicles in the manner most beneficial to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Rohnert Park
that the City Manager is authorized to sell by auction or negotiation miscellaneous surplus
equipment and vehicles throughout Fiscal Year 2002 -2003.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if the City Manager is unable to dispose of said
items by auction or negotiation, that he is authorized to dispose of the items in any manner he
deems appropriate.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 12th day. of February, 2002.
