A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
A PROCESS FOR SELECTION OF CONSULTANT TO
PREPARE A PUBLIC FACILITIES FINANCING BEGIN THE SELECTION
PLAN AND DIRECTING HE ISSUANCE OF A
PROCESS WITH T REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
WHEREAS, the City of Rohnert Park faces the need to fund a variety of major capital
improvements and public services to serve future development that is envisioned in the Rohnert
Park General Plan 2000;
WHEREAS, the Rohnert Park General Plan 2000 and other City policy requires that new
development fund, in one manner or another, these improvements and pay its own way;
WHEREAS, the Rohnert Park General Plan 2000 requires that each specific plan include
a Public Facilities Financing Plan that explains how streets, water, wastewater, solid waste, and
parks, all meeting City standards, will be provided to the project;
WHEREAS, representatives for four of the specific plan areas fund the preparation of a Public Facilities Financing Plan for common infrastructure and service
needs;
WHEREAS, the process for consultant selection is outlined in the Request for Proposals;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park has reviewed and considered
the information contained in the Transmittal Report and all relevant materials regarding the
proposed selection process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby approve
the process for selecting consultants toissuance of the Request 1 sfor1ProposalPlan and directs
Staff to begin the selection process with the
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED on this 9th day of April 2002, by the City of
Rohnert Park City Council by the following vote:
