A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK DECLARING 6600 HUNTER
DRIVE (OLD LIBRARY BUILDING) SURPLUS REAL ESTATE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Old :Library Building (APN: 143 -051 -035) is being replaced by a
new, state of the art facility and the facility will no longer be required to house local
library operations or any other city facilities;
WHEREAS, the revenue from the sale of the Old Library will be placed in the
City Endowment fund for the purposes of generating investment earnings to fund
ongoing City operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Rohnert
Park declares the Old Library Building surplus real estate and directs the City Manager to
make preparations for the sale and disposition of this property.
DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 2002.
