AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 93 -150
UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 6, PHASE 2
ADRIAN DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 93 -150 on December 14, 1993, setting
certain dates for the undergrounding of utilities in Underground Utility District No 6; and
WHEREAS, the City now has the Rule 20A funds available to complete the undergrounding on
Adrian Drive; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the new underground utilities is scheduled for 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park,
California, that the following amendments are made to Resolution No. 93 -150:
1. The City Council does hereby fix August 1, 2003, as the date on which affected property
owners within Rohnert Park Underground Utility District No. 6, Phase 2 must be ready to
receive underground utility service.
2. The City Council does hereby order the removal of all poles, overhead wires, and
associated overhead structures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for
supplying electric, communication, or other similar associated service within
Underground Utility District No. 6, Phase 2 on or before December 31, 2003.
3. The City Council does hereby resolve that the electric utility which undertakes
underground installation of its facilities shall use the underground conversion allocation
computed pursuant to decisions of the Public Utilities Commission of the State of
California for the purpose of providing to each property in Underground Utility District
No. 6, Phase 2 which requires it, a maximum of one hundred feet of individual electric,
telephone and cable television service trenching and conductor, as well as backfill,
paving and conduit, if required. Each other serving utility will provide service trenching
and conductor in accordance with its tariffs on file with the California Public Utilities
Commission or as required by its Franchise Agreement with the City of Rohnert Park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Rohnert Park shall exercise its option to use up
to $1,500 of allocation funds per panel to cover conversion costs of service panels within
Underground Utility District No. 6, Phase 2.
