2003/05/13 City Council Resolution (8)RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -106 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CROCKER COMPANY TO CONDUCT AN APPRAISAL FOR CERTAIN CITY OWNED LANDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,000 for approximately ± 0.46 acre portion of Assessor Parcel Number 159 -460 -017 (Medical Center Drive, Rohnert Park, Ca.) WHEREAS, the City of Rohnert Park owns certain property comprising an approximately ±0.46 acre portion of APN 159- 460 -017 on Medical Center Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to determine the current market value of this parcel; and WHEREAS, the Crocker Company, a property appraisal company, has provided appraisals for other properties owned by the City in the past in a timely and cost effective manner; and WHEREAS, the Crocker Company proposes to provide an appraisal for the above referenced property and previous price comparisons have been at the lowest cost for the service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park that it does hereby authorize and approve an agreement by and between the Crocker Company, a property appraisal company, and the City of Rohnert Park, a municipal corporation, to provide appraisal services for the above described +0.46 acre portion known as Assessor's Parcel Number 159- 460 -017 in an amount not to exceed $3,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Rohnert Park. DULY AND REGULARLY ADOPTED this 13th day of May, 2003.
