A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS
COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE AND SNYDER LANE SEWER TRUNK LINES
ROHNERT PARK SANITARY SEWERAGE PROJECT NO. 1967-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park,
California, that
WHEREAS, the said Council did on the 20th day of March, 1967,
adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 6723 to order the clearing,
grubbing, grading, removal of trees, shrubs and existing structures,
and the construction of sewer mains, standard manholes with standard man-
hole frames and covers, cleanouts and all appurtenances thereto in
said City, all as more particularly described and set forth in said
Resolution of Intention;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
publish once a week for two weeks in The World, a newspaper published
and cir�.uiated in Sonoma County, there being no newspaper published in
said City, and to post in three public places in said City, a notice
inviting sealed proposals or bids for the construction of said improve-
ments, and referring to the plans and specifications on file in the
office of said City Clerk, the first publication and posting shall be
at least fo-�,rteen days prior to the time fixed for opening bids.
All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or
certified check payable to the order of the City amounting to ten per-
cent of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said City
signed by the bidder and, a corporate surety or by the bidder and two
sureties who shall justify before any officer competent to administer
an oath, in double said amount and over and above all statutory ex-
emptions, Said check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become
payable to said City in case the bidder depositing the same does not.,
within fifteen days after written notice that the contract has been
.warded to him, enter into a contract with the City.
Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the City
Manager of said City on or before 2.00 o'clock P. M. on the 16th day of
June, 19679 said time being not less than fourteen days from the time
Df the first publication and posting of said notice. Bids will be
Dublicly opened, examined and declared on said day and hour and re-
Cerred to and considered by the Council at its meeting at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
