PURPOSE It is the purpose of the public agencies participating in this plan to adopt 9 pan pursuant to the provisions of Section 11543.5 of the Business and Professions :ode of the State of California for the construction of drainage facilities in the drainage area of Copeland Crook and to adopt appropriate ordinances whereby the cost >f said drainage facilities will be defrayed by the developers and subdividers benefiting From the construction of said improvements. AUTHORITY FOR PLAN This plan is adopted pursuant to the authority vested in the participating ocai 'agencies by Section 11543.5 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of .alifornia ; DESCRIPTION OF DRAINAGE AREA A map of the Copeland Creek drainage area showing its boundaries and the ocation of the planned drainage facilities marked Exhibit "A" is attached to this Sian and by reference thereto incorporated herein. A legal description of that portion .if the Copeland Creek drainage area within the City of Rohnert Park is marked Exhibit "B" ;r,c is attached to and by reference thereto made a part of this plan. A legal description if that portion of Copeland Creek drainage area included within the County of Sonoma s marked Exhibit "C" and is attached to this plan and by reference thereto lncorporaed DESCRIPTION OF DRAINAGE FACILITIES Following is a general statement of the drainage facilities proposed to be constructed under this plan: The improvement of Copeland Creek, for U. S. Highway 101 to a" point approximately 1,600 feet easterly of Snyder Lane, by the construction of an earth.channel trapezoidal in shape, the construction of bridges at Snyder Lane and at the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, the construction of a trapezoidal earth channel, easterly of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad, from said Copeland Creek, - southerly'to East Cotati'Avenue and the construction of a concrete pipe storm drain in East'Cotati Avenue, from a point approximately 200 feet east of Snyder Lane, westerly to said railroad ditch, all as set forth on the map of Copeland Creek,`drainage area marked Exhibit "A ". The location of the planned drainage facilities and cross sections thereof are set forth on the map of Copeland Creek drainage area marked Exhibit` "A ". I t i s •r ^a intention of the parties that this shall constitute, a general description of the proposed location and contemplated drainage facilities and that detailed plans and specifications will be approved by each of the parties before construction of said facilities.
