A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ISSUE SEWER REVENUE BONDS
SEWER TREATMENT FACILITIES EXPANSION PROJECT NO. 1968 -1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Parr,
California, as follows:
1. The public interest, convenience and necessity require
and it is the intention of this Council to acquire and construct
the sanitary sewerage facilities hereinafter described, and to
issue sewer revenue bonds in payment of the cost thereof.
2. The estimated cost of the acquisition, construction and
financing of the works to be acquired and constructed is the sum
of $437,500, of which X101,145 will be paid from the proceeds of
a grant to be made pursuant to Public Lava 660 and of which
$156,900 will be paid from the general fund of the City. Said
estimate includes all costs and estimated costs incidental to or
connected with the acquisition, construction, improving or
financing of the project, together with all engineering, in-
spection, legal and fiscal agent's fees, costs of bond election
and of the issuance of said bonds, bond reserve funds and working
capital and bond interest to accrue during the construction period
and for a period of not to exceed 12 months after completion of
construction, and all other expenses connected with or incident
to the works in the operation and performance of the acts required
by Chapter 5, Part 3, Division 5 of the Health and Safety Code to
be done.
3. The amount of revenue bonds to be issued and sold is
the sum of $200,000.
4. A general description of the area to be served by the
proposed works is all of the territory included within the

boundaries of the City of Rohnert Park.
Reference is made to a plat on file in the office of
the City Clerk, which shall govern for all details.
5. A general description of the works is the acquisition,
construction, improving and financing of works consisting of.
sewage treatment and transmission facilities, including, but not
limited to, lagoons, comminuting units, piping, controls, effluent
lines, chlorination equipment, fencing and all other appurtenances
necessary, useful or convenient for the transmission, treatment,
purification and disposal of sewage, including the acquisition
of property, rights of way and easements necessary or convenient
therefor.
6. Reference is hereby made to plans and specifications
of said work and improvements prepared by M. C. Yoder Associates,
Consulting Engineers, selected therefor by the City Council, and
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
7. An estimate of the number and character of the places
and properties to be served by the works are 1550 ready for
immediate service and 4762 in expectancy, residential and com-
mercial structures.
8. An estimate of the immediate annual revenue that would
be received from the operation of the works is $34,100, and an
estimate of future annual revenues in expectancy is $104,764.
9. Sewer Revenue Bonds of the City will be issued to
cover that portion of the cost of the works not available from
other sources, pursuant to Chapter 5, Part 3, Division 5 of the
Health and Safety Code of the State of California, commonly re-
ferred to as the Sewer Revenue Bond Act of 1033•
10. Notice is hereby given that '` the
day of aLt%4, 1968, at the hour of _ o'clock
P.M., at Council Chambers, City Hall, 435 Southwest Boulevard,

Rohnert Park, California, are hereby fixed as the time and
place when and where persons interested may appear before the
City Council and be heard as to any protests or objections
they may have against the acquisition or construction of the
proposed works and the issuance and sale of bonds.
11. A copy of this resolution shall be published twice
in The World, a newspaper published and circulated in the City,
the second of which shall be at least ten (10) days before the
time set for hearing.
12. Copies of this resolution headed "Notice of Sewer
Work" in letters of not less than one inch in height shall be
posted at least 300 feet in distance apart, but not less than
three notices, along the entire length of

the City, it being the street in the City which in the opinion
of the City Council is traversed by the largest number of people.
Said posting shall be completed at least ten (10) days before
the time set for hearing.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park,
California, at a regularly held meeting thereof held on the
day of 1968, by the following vote:
