1972/03/06 City Council Resolution (3)WJML:Pr jn 3/3/72 10c RESOLUTION NO. 72 -30 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE REGULAR ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR CONDUCTING THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK ON APRIL 11, 1972, FIXING POLLING PLACES, AND DESIGNATING ELECTION OFFICERS FOR SAID REGULAR !MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, California, that 1. The regular municipal election of the City of Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, California, has been called and ordered to be held on Tuesday, the 11th day of April, 1972, for the purpose of electing certain city officials. 2. There will be three voting precincts for the purpose of holding the regular municipal election, consisting of consolidations of regular election precincts established for holding state or county elections, or a consolidation of some or all of such precincts, as follows: Consolidated Precinct No. 1, comprising state and county precincts designated as Rohnert Park City Precincts 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 as established by Sonoma County Elections Department: Polling Place: John Reed School, 390 Arlen Dr., Rohnert Park, California Election Officers: Inspector: Florence Taneyhill Judge: Irma Badger Clerk: Dorothy M. Holland Clerk: Nancy Keith Consolidated Precinct No. 2, comprising state and county precincts designated as Rohnert Park City Precincts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 as established by Sonoma County Elections Department: Polling Place: Rohnert Park Junior High School, 7165 Burton Avenue, Rohnert Park, California Election Officers: Inspector: Elaine Soto Judge: Patricia Espenshade Clerk: Lorraine L. Roberts Clerk: Mary Rosaschi Consolidated Precinct No. 3, comprising state and county Precincts designated as Rohnert Park City Precincts 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 as established by Sonoma County Elections Department: Polling Place: Waldo Rohnert School,, 550 Bonnie Ave., Rohnert Park, California Election Officers: Inspector: Beatrice Melior Judge., Mary Whitcomb Clerk: Marjorie Myers Clerk: Ruth Errett 3. The City Clerk shall notify the election officers of their appointment at the times and in the manner provided by law. 4. Compensation of each election officer, except inspector, is hereby fixed at $18.00 for services to be rendered in connection with said election. Compensation of Inspector, for such services, is hereby fixed at $200000 5. At said election, the polls shall be opened at 7:00 O'clock in the morning of the day of said election, and shall be kept open until 8:00 O'clock in the evening of the same day, when the polls shall be closed, subject to the provisions of Sections 14436 and 14437 of the Elections Code. 6. The City Clerk shall cause to be conspicuously posted in three public places in the City a notice entitled "Election Officers and Polling Places", there being no newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the city.
