RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
APPROVING A LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
BANC ONE LEASING CORPORATION AND THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation has submitted a proposal
which is acceptable to the Council of the City of Rohnert Park to
provide financing for the various vehicles (12 police cars, 6
public works pickup trucks, 1 fire truck and 1 air truck) contained
in the approved 1990 -91 budget ; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to accept the commitment for
financing by entering into a lease purchase agreement with Banc One
Leasing Corporation for said vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Council has previously determined that a true and
very real need exists for the acquisition of said vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the terms of the
lease purchase agreement are in the best interests of the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Rohnert Park that it does hereby approve that certain "lease
purchase agreement" between Banc One Leasing Corporation and the
City of Rohnert Park dated November 13, 1990; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized and
directed to execute said lease for and on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and the City
Attorney are authorized and directed to execute any related
documents necessary to consummate the transactions contemplated by
the lease purchase agreement herein approved and authorized.
