1990/11/30 City Council Resolution (5)RESOLUTION NO. 90--2-75 A RESOLUTION COMMENDING PETER M. CALLINAN ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT AND NAMING HIM "HONORARY CITIZEN" OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK WHEREAS, Peter M. Callinan, affectionately referred to as "Pete," is retiring from his position as City Manager, effective December 29, 1990, thereby bringing to a close over 28 years of extremely productive years with the City of Rohnert Park; and WHEREAS, Pete has performed his duties and responsibilities in an exemplary manner and is well known for his intelligence, competence, common sense, courtesy, honesty, dependability, reliability, sharp wit, and sense of humor; and WHEREAS, Pete "s presence as a member of the city organization will be sorely missed, not only by Council members and staff, but also by many, many citizens of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Rohnert Park does hereby declare PETER M. CALLINAN "HONORARY CITIZEN" and encourages all citizens of the community to join in the observance of this significant occasion and to reflect on its importance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Rohnert Park does hereby extend best wishes to Peter M. Callinan and is his wife Greta best wishes on the occasion of his retirement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be suitably prepared and presented to "Pete" as evidence of the high esteem in which he is held by the Council and citizens of Rohnert Park.
