2000/08/22 City Council Resolution (6)RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -174 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED EXHIBIT "3" TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AND JOSEPH D. NETTER, ROHNERT PARK CITY MANAGER WHEREAS, the Rohnert Park City Council has approved an Employment Agreement for Joseph D. Netter, Rohnert Park City Manager on April 28, 1998 by Resolution No. 98 -89; and WHEREAS, the Employment Agreement provides for periodic salary reviews at the discretion of the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salary adjustments for the Rohnert Park Management Unit employees as approved by Resolution No. 2000 -173; and WHEREAS, it is the City Council's intention to provide at a minimum a salary increase to the City Manager in the same percentage as other management employees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rohnert Park that the attached Exhibit "3" as amended on August 22, 2000 is hereby approved, which provides for the same percentage salary increase as other management employees. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other terms and conditions will remain the same as provided for in the Employment Agreement or other documents as referenced therein. CITY OF ROHNERT PARK /VJ layor FLORES: NO MACKENZIE: AYE REILLY: AYE SPIRO: AYE VIDAK- MARTINEZ: AYE AYES: (4) NOES: (1) ABSENT: (0) ABSTAIN: (0) Option "A" EXHIBIT "3" Amended August 22, 2000 Annual Compensation (Salary) Payable to NETTER as Provided in Section 6 Annual base salary shall be One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty -Five ($117,555) Dollars for the term of THE AGREEMENT payable in installments in the same manner and at the same time as the other city management or department heads are paid. In addition, the sum of Two Hundred Fifty ($250) Dollars per month shall be paid to NETTER by City as deferred compensation. NETTER will also receive all other benefits and allowances as granted other management employees in his same tier. CITY shall have the right to make additional annual adjustments in NETTER'S annual compensation at the discretion of the City Council, i.e. 3 of the 5 Councilpersons.
