SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Thurday June 25, 2015
The Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Rohnert Park met this date at the Community
Center, 5401 Snyder Ln, Rohnert Park, for a special meeting to commence at 4:OOpm.
Call to order
The meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Griffin at 4:01 p.m.
Item 1. Roll Call:
Present: Vice Chair Griffin, Commissioners Black, Borr
Absent: Chair Bird, Commissioner Canterbury (excused)
Staff Present: Mitch Austin, Community Services Manager
Item 2. Public Comment:
None.
Item 3. Parks Audit Tour:
The Parks and Recreation Commissioners, along with City Staff, visited Magnolia and Rainbow Parks.
Each individual completed a questionnaire regarding the state of amenities, landscape, and features in
the parks. An in-depth analysis of the results of the questionnaire will be discussed at a later date
during a regularly scheduled Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
Item 4. Matters to/from Commissioners
Adjournment- There being no further business, Vice Chair Griffin adjourned the special meeting of
the 13 r-ks and Recreation C ammission at 5:30 p.m. _
