2013/12/16 Parks and Recreation Commission AgendaPARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK AGENDA Monday December 16, 2013 6:30 p.m. City Hall – Council Chambers 130 Avram Ave., Rohnert Park, CA The Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Rohnert Park welcomes your attendance, interest, and participation in its meetings regularly scheduled the third Monday of each month (unless noticed otherwise) at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Commission may discuss and/or take action on any or all of the items listed on this agenda. PUBLIC COMMENTS: For public comment on either listed or unlisted agenda items, please fill out a speaker card and provide it to the Commission Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. Each request for public comment will be recognized by the Commission Chair in conjunction with its respective topic. Please turn off all pagers, cellular telephones and all other communication devices upon entering the council Chambers because of electrical interference with the sound recording and TV projection systems. Approval of Minutes – Approval of the minutes of November 18, 2013. 1. Roberts Lake Dog Park: Staff will advise the Commission regarding recent improvements made to Roberts Lake Dog Park in response to citizen requests. a. Staff Report b. Discussion 2. Proposed Fee Increases for Recreational Facilities and Programs: Staff will present a proposal to increase user fees at the Community Centers, Swimming Pools and other facilities. a. Staff Report b. Discussion 4. Rescheduling of the January 20, 2014 and February 17, 2014 Meetings: The first two meetings of 2014 both fall on National Holidays. Staff recommends rescheduling these meetings to a date one week later in the year. a. Staff Report b. Discussion c. Action 5.
