2017/12/14 Planning Commission MinutesAg&As�t� ROHNERT PARK PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES December 14, 2017 The Planning Commission of the City of Rohnert Park met this date in a regular session commencing at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 130 Avram Avenue, with Chairperson Haydon presiding. Call To Order Chairperson Haydon called the meeting of the regular session to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. with Chairperson Haydon leading the pledge. Roll Call Present: (4) Commissioners: Commissioner Borba, Commissioner Blanquie, Commissioner Giudice and Commissioner Haydon were present. Commissioner Adams was excused. Development Services Director, Mary Grace Pawson, Planning Manager, Jeff Beiswenger, Planner II, Zachary and Recording Secretary, Suzie Azevedo were present. Declaration of None. Abstention Acknowledgement of Chairperson Haydon acknowledged the posting of the Agenda of this meeting in Public Noticing three (3) public places, per the requirements of the Brown Act. Approval of Minutes None. Unscheduled Public None. Appearances Conditional Use Permit Consideration of Resolution No. 2017-28, approving a Conditional Use Permit for a large Residential Care Facility located at 6084 Country Club File No. PLUP17-0002 Drive. Townsend/Townsend RECOMMENDED ACTION(S): Conduct a public hearing, consider all testimony, Residential Design approve a Conditional Use Permit for a large residential care facility located at 6084 Country Club Drive. Chairperson Haydon opened the public hearing. Public Comment: Applicant, Chris Townsend was recognized and briefly responded to Commission questions. Chairperson Haydon closed the public hearing. ACTION: Moved/seconded (Giudice/Blanquie) to adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 2017-28, approving a Conditional Use Permit for a large residential care facility located at 6084 Country Club Drive. Planning Manager, Jeffrey Beiswenger presented the staff report. RECOMMENDED ACTION(S): Conduct a public hearing, consider all testimony, approve a Conditional Use Permit to allow an increase in the Floor Area Ratio factor (FAR) for a residential property located at 1516 Gary Ct. File No. PLDA 17-0001 Development Services Director, Mary Grace Pawson presented the item. RECOMMENDED ACTION(S): Table the noticed public hearing until the Eric Reid, SOMO Village proposed amendments are ready for Planning Commission review. LLC ACTION: Item tabled. GENERAL PLAN Consideration of Resolution 2017-31 finding that proposed Rohnert Park CONSISTENCY Senior Center accessibility improvements are consistent with General Plan 2020 and eligible for CDBG and other funding resources File No. PLCF17-0001 Planning Manager, Jeffrey Beiswenger presented the staff report. City of Rohnert Park RECOMMENDED ACTION(S): Report to the City Council that the Rohnert Park Senior Center Accessibility Improvements are consistent with General Plan 2020 and eligible for CDBG and other funding. ACTION: Moved/seconded (Blanquie/Borba) to adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 2017-31, reporting to the City Council that the Rohnert Park Senior Center Accessibility Improvements are consistent with General Plan 2020 and eligible for CDBG and other funding.
