2010/01/14 Planning Commission ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 2OO9-29 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION oF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK CALIFORNIA, FINDING GENERAL PLAN CONFORMITY FOR THE I'UTURE SALE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 435 SOUTH\ilEST BOULEVARD APN 143-370-010 (CÍty of Rohnert Park) WHEREAS, the property located at 435 Southwest Boulevard on an approximately *32,000 square foot, irregularly shaped parcel is designated "Public Institutional" on the City's General Plan Land Use Diagram; WHEREAS, the site is improved with a one story Class "C" concrete block City- owned government building containing approximately +6,320 square feet of gross building area; zurd WHEREAS, the improvements comprise a special puqpose property, a former City of Rohnert Park fire station; and WHEREAS, the public use has been terminated; and WHEREAS, Planning Application No. 2009-30GP, General Plan Conformity Finding, was processed in the time and manner prescribed by State and local law; and WHEREAS, on January 14,2010, the Planning Commission reviewed Planning Application No. 2009-030GP, General Plan Conformity Finding, during a scheduled public meeting; and WHEREAS, at the January 14, 2010 Planning Commission meeting, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, the Commission considered all the facts relating to Planning Application No. 2009-30GP, General Plan Conformity Finding. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK DOES RESOLVE, DETERMTNE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. Section 2. Finding. The Planning Commission makes the following Finding of General Plan Conformity for the future sale of properties located at 435 Southwest Boulevard, APN 143-370-010: The City of Rohnert Park's future sale of Assessor's Parcel 143-370-010 is consistent with the City's General Plan in that any development project proposed for the site will be designed and developed consistent with General Plan polices and, if necessary, approved amendments thereto. Section 3. Environmental Clearance. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, ptrsuant to California Code of Regulations Title 14, Chapter 3, Section 15332 (Class 32 - In-Fill Development Projects).
