2019/06/13 Planning Commission Minutes ROHNERT PARK PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES June 13, 2019 Rohnert Park City Hall, Council Chamber 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park, California Call To Order Chairperson Giudice called the meeting of the regular session to order at 6:00 p.m. with Chairperson Giudice leading the pledge. Roll Call Present: (3) Commissioners: Commissioner Blanquie, Commissioner Giudice and Commissioner Orloff were present. Commissioner Borba and Commissioner Haydon were excused. Staff Present: Planning Manager, Jeff Beiswenger, Consultant, Lori MacNab, and Recording Secretary, Jennifer Sedna, were present. Declaration of Abstention None. Acknowledgement of Public Noticing Chairperson Giudice acknowledged the posting of the Agenda of this meeting in three (3) public places, per the requirements of the Brown Act. Approval of Minutes ACTION: Moved/seconded (Blanquie/Orloff) to approve the minutes of the April 11, 2019 regular Planning Commission meeting as presented. Motion carried by the following unanimous 3-0 vote: AYES: Blanquie, Giudice, and Orloff; NOES: None; ABSTAIN: None; ABSENT: Borba and Haydon ACTION: Moved/seconded (Orloff/ Blanquie) to approve the minutes of the May 23, 2019 regular Planning Commission meeting as presented. Motion carried by the following unanimous 3-0 vote: AYES: Blanquie, Giudice, and Orloff; NOES: None; ABSTAIN: None; ABSENT: Borba and Haydon Unscheduled Public Appearances None. Study Session File No. PLSR18-0009 PWC Architects STUDY SESSION – STRAUS CREAMERY TENANT IMPROVEMENT Consultant, Lori MacNab, presented the item. Recommended Action(s): Review and provide comment for the Straus Family Creamery Improvements at 201 Business Park Drive. ACTION: By Consensus (none opposed with Borba and Haydon absent), the Commission received the informational presentation and participated in the study session by offering input on various topics such as increasing bicycle parking, adding solar components, noise mitigation including timing of truck deliveries, fencing aesthetics, and necessity of CEQA studies. The Commission praised the project.
