Enclosed are the Fixed Assets Data Sheets. After February 1, 1981, a form
is to be completed for each asset that is:
1. Acquired (purchased, donated)
2. Transferred (to a different department)
3. Deleted (stolen, discarded, traded in)
In the event of any type of acquisition, asset number and tag number will
be supplied by the auditor. In the event of acquisition by donation, the
cost is to be the estimated fair market value at time of donation.
Also enclosed is your department's fixed asset report as of 6/30/80 and the
coding sheets. Please keep these as they will be needed for future asset

It is very important for our City to keep track of its equipment and your
