CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Chairperson Belforte called the Special Meeting to order at 5:01 p.m., the notice for which being legally noticed on November 7,2019. Present:Board Members Gina Belforte, Chair Joseph T. Callinan, Vice Chair Susan Hollingsworth Adams, Director Jake Mack enzie, D irector Pam Stafford, Director Absent: None. 2. CONSENT CALENDAR All items on the Consent Calendar will be considered together by one or more action(s) of the Board Members of the City of Rohnert Park Foundation unless any Board Member or anyone else interested in a consent calendar item has a question about the item. Board Motion/Vote: A. Approval of Minutes of Special Meeting held on October 22,2019 ACTION: Moved/seconded (Stafford/Adams) to approve the Consent Calendar Motion carried by the following unanimous 5-0-0 vote: AYES: Adams, Mackenzie, Stafford, Callinan and Belforte; NOES: None; ABSTAINS: None; ABSENT:None. 3. ACTION ITEMS A. Consideration of Grant Awards to Selected Participants of the Small Grants Program and Authorizing the Executive Director to Enter Into Grant Agreements 1. Staff Report Senior Analyst L.Tacatapresented the item. Recommended Action( s): Authorize the Executive Director to enter into City of Rohnert Park Foundation Small Grants Program Agreements with the recommended applicants 2. Public Comments I . Andy Springer on behalf of Heartwood Church spoke about homeless youth, Heartwood Church's backpacks for homeless youth Small Grants project, and in favor of the recommended grant awards. 2. Lany Morrow spoke on behalf of Technology High School Sports Boosteri in favor of the recommended grant awards. 3. Dawn Mawhinney spoke on behalf of Technology High School PTSA and in favor of the recommended grant awards. 3. Resolution for Adoption: a. 2019-002 Authorizing Executive Director to Enter Into City of Rohnert Park Foundation Small Grants Program Agreements for Calendar Year 2020 1. Board motion/discussion/vote ACTION: Moved/seconded (CallinarVStafford) to approve Item 3.4. Motion carried by the following unanimous 5-0-0 vote: AYES: Adams, Mackenzie, Stafford, Callinan and Belforte; NOES: None; ABSTAINS: None; ABSENT:None.
