Consistent with Executive Orders No. N-25-20 and No. N-29-20 from the Executive Department of the
State of California and the Sonoma County Health Official’s March 17, 2020 and March 31, 2020
Shelter in Place Orders, the City Council Meeting will not be physically open to the public and City
Councilmembers will be teleconferencing into the meeting via Zoom Video Communications software.
How to observe the Meeting:
To maximize public safety while still maintaining transparency and public access, members of the
public can observe the meeting on Cable Channel 26 or by visiting meeting central on our website

How to submit Public Comment:
Members of the public may provide public comment by sending comments to the Clerk by email at
publiccomment@rpcity.org prior to the item being called on the agenda. Email comments must be
related to this agenda ONLY and should be a maximum of 350 words, which corresponds to
approximately 3 minutes of speaking time. The comments will be read for the record, with a maximum
allowance of 30 minutes of total public comments, subject to the Mayor’s discretion. Comments not
pertaining to this agenda item will not be read for the record. If a comment is received after the agenda
item is heard but before the close of the meeting, the comment will still be included as a part of the
record of the meeting but will not be read for the record or considered in connection with the agenda
item.

RIGHT TO APPEAL: Judicial review of any city administrative decision pursuant to Code of Civil

SIMULTANEOUS MEETING COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE (Government Code Section
54952.3): Members of the City Council receive no additional compensation as a result of convening this
joint meeting of the City Council and the Rohnert Park Financing Authority.

B. The use of state-approved fireworks is prohibited in any parking lot on any commercial
property.

C. As a condition of permit issuance, the fire code official may impose such permit
conditions regulating the manner in which fireworks stands are operated as may be
deemed necessary to adequately protect public health and safety, and protect the health
and safety of workers operating such fireworks stands, including the imposition of
conditions to ensure compliance with any applicable orders of the Health Officer of the
County of Sonoma and the State Public Health Officer, or with the State Fireworks Law or
state regulations pertaining to fireworks.

Fireworks stands shall at all times be operated in compliance with all permit conditions
imposed by the fire code official.
