A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROHNERT PARK
AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR APPROPRIATION OF $85,000 IN
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE SENIOR
CENTER RESTROOM AND ADA IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO 2015-07
IN FISCAL YEAR 2020-21
WHEREAS, on December 12, 2017, the City Council approved Resolution 2417-143
authorizing staff to submit a grant application for funding through the CDBG program for the
Senior Center Restroom and ADA Improvements Project No. 2015-07 and execute a Funding
Agreement to accept the grant; and,
WHEREAS, the $85,000 grant was approved and the Funding Agreement was fully
executed on September 23, 2020; and,
WHEREAS, in order for the City to use the $85,000 in grant funding, the City Council
needs to approve the appropriation of the funds into the Capital Improvement Fund for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rohnert
Park that it does hereby determine, authorize and approve the following:
Section 1. The above recitals are true and correct and material to this resolution.
Section 2. The City Council approves a budget amendment to appropriate $85,000 into the
City's Capital Project Fund 310 for the Senior Center Restroom and ADA Improvements Project
No. 2015-07, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to take any further actions necessary to
effectuate this approval.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
Section 4. All portions of this resolution are severable. Should any individual component
of this resolution be adjudged to be invalid and unenforceable by a body of competent jurisdiction,
then the remaining resolution portions shall continue in full force and effect, except as to those
resolution portions that have been adjudged invalid. The City Council of the City of Rohnert Park
hereby declares that it would have adopted this resolution and each section, subsection, clause,
sentence, phrase and other portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more section,
subsection, clause, sentence, phrase or other portion may be held invalid or unconstitutional.
