Disassembly
Ensure weapon is empty
Depress the action bar lock and open bolt halfway
Remove magazine cap or extension tube
Remove barrel from receiver
Remove fore end sliding forward and pressing left shell catch
Remove bolt assembly from action bars
Punch out trigger plate pin and remove assembly from receiver

Care and cleaning
Clean barrel with bore brush, solvent and patches
Clean the inside of receiver and bolt with brush, solvent and patches
Brush off trigger plate assembly.
Lightly lubricate moving parts and wipe exterior lightly with light lubricant

Assembly
Replace the trigger plate assembly in receiver
Slide fore end over the magazine tube
Replace the bolt assembly on the action bars
Slide the action bars and blot assembly into receiver
Depress the right and then left shell catches to completely seat the bolt assembly

Function check
Make sure weapon is completely empty and pointed in safe direction
Dpress action bar lock and cycle action. Should cycle smoothly
With safety on, pull trigger
Trigger should not pull and hammer should not fall
With chamber closed and safety off, pull trigger should hear the hammer drop
Recycle action and pull trigger hearing the hammer drop
Put weapon back on safe
