January 30, 1968
The Council of the City of Rohnert Park met this
date in special session commencing at 8:00 p.m. in
the City Offices, 435 Southwest Boulevard, Rohnert
Park, with Mayor Pezonella presiding.
Call to Order Mayor Pezonella called the meeting to order.
Present: (3) Councilmen Rogers, Smith & Mayor
Pezonella
Late: (2) Councilmen Buchanan and Roberts
Staff Present: City Manager Callinan, Richard
Raymond of Wilson, Jones, Morton &
Lynch, attorneys.
Lease for Golf Bond Counsel Richard Raymond reviewed in detail the
Course proposed lease agreement with the City of Rohnert
Park Golf Course Corporation.
Arrival of Council- Councilman Buchanan and Roberts arrived during Mr.

Resolution 68 -08 A RESOLUTION APPROVIi <G LEASE.
Upon motion by Councilman Rogers, seconded by
Councilman Roberts, and unanimously approved the
reading of Resolution No. 68 -08 was waived and
said resolution was adopted.
Golf Course Irriga- City Manager Callinan reported on the progress of
tion. the irrigation improvements being installed by
Fairway Landscape Company.
Regent Investment City Manager reported on a communication received
Corp. from Regent Investment Corp. in which they advised
that they have reached the maximum amount they were
pledged to disburse for the golf course. City
Manager Callinan further reported that he hopes to get
together with Regent Investment Corp representatives
to resolve a dispute between them and the City as to
overhead and profit charges being made by Regent.
Meeting with A discussion was held concerning the Cotati City Council's
Cotati request to meet on February 12, 1968 to discuss the
proposed sewer agreement. Upon conclusion of the
discussion it was agreed that the February 12th date
was not acceptable but that February 27th was.
Colegio Vista City Manager Callinan reported that since the developers
Subdivision of Colegio Vista Subdivision Unit No. 1 had not sub-
mitted the final map it could not be considered by
the Council at this meeting.

Barlas Farms Barlas Farms' amended application to the County of
Sonoma for a fertilizer storage yard at 711 Railroad
Avenue was brought to the attention of the Council.
Upon motion by Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman
Rogers, and unanimously approved, the Council went on
record reaffirming their original feelings and recommended
to the County denial of this application.
League of California Councilman Roberts initiated a discussion concernigg
Cities the next quarterly meeting of the Redwood Empire
Division of the League of California Cities for which
the cities of Cotati, Petaluma and Rohnert Park have
been disignated as co- hosts. It was agreed that
Councilman Buchanan would serve as the Rohn ert Park
City Council representative to coordinate preparations
for the meeting.
