February 10, 1987
The Members of the Agency of the Community Development Agency
of the City of Rohnert Park met this date in its initial
session during a recess of the City Council meeting at
approximately 7:50 n.m. in the City Offices, 5750 Commerce
Boulevard, Rohnert Park, with Mayor Eck presiding as
Chairman.
Call to order Chairman Eck called the meeting of the Rohnert Park Community
Development Agency to order at approximately 7:50 p.m.
Roll call Present: (5) Agency 'Members Cochran, 'Tollingsworth, Hopkins,
Lepinski and Chairman Eck
Absent: (0) None
Staff present: Executive Director Callinan, City Attorney
Flitner, and Assistant to the City Manager Netter
Time for Public Chairman Eck stated that in compliance with State Law (the
1 Comment Brown Act), anyone in the audience who wished to make a
/ comment may do so at this time.
Peter Podchernikoff, 1120 Civic Center Drive, was recognized
and stated that he is intrigued by a statement made by
Executive Director Callinan as quoted in the Clarion about
getting money from the State, and he feels that the
redevelopment process will give added pressure to the State
to increase taxes and as a representative of the Concerned
Taxpayers of Rohnert Park, he feels that the citizens are
taxed enough.
Chairman Eck briefly explained the advantages for the City to
get involved with the redevelopment process.
Agency Member Hollingsworth suggested that since Mr.
Podchernikoff was not present at the last Council meeting
when the redevelopment process was discussed, that Mr.
Podchernikoff contact Assistant to the City Manager Netter.

noted that the Agency Members had previously been provided

Upon motion of Agency '"ember Hopkins, seconded by Agency
N+emher Hollingsworth, and unanimously aroroved, reading of
Resolution No. 57-01 was waived and said resolution was
adopted.
Resolution No. 87-02 A RESOLUTION APPROWING A GrEE}TENT I?ITP JOHN C. nAVIs AND
ASSOCIATES
Executive Director Callinan explained the resolution and
noted that the Agency Members had previously been provided
with same.
Upon motion of Agency Member Hopkins, seconded by Agency
Member Hollingsworth, and unanimously approved, reading of
Resolution No. 87-02 was waived and said resolution was
adopted.
Resolution "o. R7-03 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT vrrn SABO & DEITSCP,
ATTORNEYS AT LAW
Executive Director Callinan explained the resolution and
noted that the Agency members had previously been provided
with same.
Upon motion of Agency Member Popkins, seconded by Agency
Member Hollingsworth, and unanimously approved, reading of
Resolution Mo. 87-03 was waived and said resolution was
adopted.
Miscellaneous Staff Executive Director Callinan provided the Agency Members with
report a list of of proposed projects to he considered for funding
through the Agency (a copy of which is attached to the
original set of these minutes).
Adjournment There being no further business, the initial meeting of the
Community Development Agency of the City of Rohnert Park was
adjourned at approximately 7:59 p.m.
